Ingredients

BACON WRAPPED JALAPEÑO POPPERS

  • 1 bag Quest® Cheddar & Sour Cream Protein Chips
  • 8 jalapeño peppers
  • 4 slices of bacon (cut in half)
  • 6 tablespoons low-fat cream cheese
  • 2 1⁄ 2 ounces sharp light cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1⁄ 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • Pinch of salt and pepper
  • 1 egg white, lightly whisked
  • Nonstick cooking spray

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Slice each jalapeño in half and remove seeds and membranes.
  3. In a medium mixing bowl, stir together cream cheese, cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Hand crush Quest Protein Chips™ into crumbs and place into a small bowl. Set aside.
  5. Spoon cheese mixture into each jalapeño half.
  6. Place egg white in a bowl that’s big enough to fit one of the jalapeño halves.
  7. Dip each jalapeño half in egg white and coat with chips.
  8. Wrap each jalapeño with half a slice of bacon.
  9. Spray a large baking dish with cooking spray.
  10. Add poppers to dish and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
  11. Remove from oven, and serve.

3/4 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

1/4 cup black olives

1 jalapeño, sliced

2 tbsp sour cream

2 bags Quest Nacho Cheese Tortilla-Style Protein Chips

Method

  1. In a large, non-stick skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. add turkey and seasonings to skillet
  3. Break up the ground turkey and stir it with a wooden spoon until it’s cooked throughout (6-8 minutes)
  4. Place the chopped lettuce in a large serving bowl.
  5. Remove turkey from heat and top off the serving bowl with turkey.
  6. Add tomatoes, cheese, olives, jalapeños and chips.
  7. Drizzle with sour cream and toss slightly before serving
  8. Enjoy!

Prep Time: 15 mins | Cook Time: 10 mins (until desired consistency) | Total Time: 30 mins (including cool time)

Ingredients

1 Scoop Quest Vanilla Milkshake Protein Powder
1 Quest Birthday Cake Protein Bar
1 large egg
1/4 cup 0% Greek Yogurt
2 tbsp almond milk
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp sprinkles

Method

Place Quest Bar in Nutri-Bullet or comparable food processor and blend until small crumbles form
Set aside 1 tablespoon of crumbles for topping. Place the remaining crumbles into a mixing bowl.
Add in other ingredients and stir until a batter forms.

Let sit for 5 minutes.

Spray waffle iron with non-stick spray and turn the heat to high.
Pour the batter into the center of the waffle iron and cook until golden brown.
Top off the waffle with the remaining Quest Bar crumbles and add whipped cream.

Celebrate and eat!

Ingredients


1 1/2 cups crushed graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup butter
1 cup of chocolate chips
1 cup butterscotch chips
1 cup sweetened flaked coconut
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk


Instructions


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9×13 inch baking pan with cooking spray and set aside.
Melt butter in a small saucepan. Remove from heat and stir in graham cracker crumbs until thoroughly combined. Press into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking pan to form the crust.
Evenly sprinkle remaining ingredients one by one over the crust to form layers, beginning with the chocolate chips, followed by the butterscotch chips, coconut, and walnuts. Pour the condensed milk evenly over the top, and spread with a rubber spatula to make sure it's evenly distributed.
Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until edges are golden brown and the middle is set.
Allow to cool completely before slicing. Enjoy!

ENCHILADAS VERDES CON CHILI

INGREDIENTS:
12 HATCH long green chili peppers
2 tbsp. flour
1 quart Suero de Sal (whey) or buttermilk can be used as a substitute, divided
½ cup oil for frying 1 medium white onion, diced
12 to18 corn tortillas, preferably white corn
1 pound shredded turkey (FOR MEATLESS USE MORE CHEESE)
1 ½ cups white shredded cheese
¼ cup queso fresco, crumbled
½ CUP sour cream (for sauce and topping)
Salt to taste
Water, if needed
2 to 3 ripe avocados, pitted and sliced

DIRECTIONS:

ROAST CHILE PEPPERS:
Preheat broiler. Select firm, meaty peppers without wrinkles for roasting.
Rinse thoroughly.
Place peppers evenly in a single layer on a foil-lined cookie sheet.
Place under broiler. Watch them closely as the skin will blister and turn black within minutes. Turn the peppers after 5 minutes to blister all sides evenly. When done, the pepper skins should be evenly blistered and mostly black.
Place roasted peppers in a plastic bag, cover with a kitchen towel and when cool, rub off the blackened skin, and discard the stem.

SAUCE:

In a blender combine the peppers, flour, and half of the Suero or buttermilk and blend until creamy.
Pour mixture into a medium skillet and set over medium-low heat to warm. Add additional Suero or buttermilk and stir. Taste and season with salt, usually about 2 teaspoons. If the sauce is too spicy, add ¼ cup of crema Mexicana or sour cream and stir. If the sauce is too thick, add water until the desired consistency is reached.

STACK UM:

Fry tortillas in hot oil until softened.
Drain on paper towels.
Soften tortillas.
Place softened tortillas on individual serving plates. Layer with shredded turkey (more cheese for meatless), onion, and cheese. Repeat process for a total of 3 to 4 tortillas for each serving.
Serve with slices of avocados.

A person guys have already heard my record that I’m very happy with the new treadmill purchase. I bought the particular NordicTrack C 990. (This post/review isn’t sponsored at all). Leading the NordicTrack C Series, the C 990 Treadmill remains one of the best buys in its price bracket. Its top-selling points include a roomy 60″ x 20″ track, an automated 12% incline, and 32 built-in workout programs. This treadmill also has wireless heart rate monitoring, although the Bluetooth chest strap is sold separately. It’s also iFit enabled, which adds in all of the remarkable features that come with that subscription service.

The tablet bracket and 7″ LED is an important combination to remember when you’re comparing treadmills. NordicTrack treadmills have different combinations of consoles and extras:

Each has either a 7″ LED, a 7″ touchscreen with an Internet browser, or a 10″ touchscreen with an Internet browser.
Some also have a tablet bracket or a high-def TV.
We’re impressed by the C 990. At the same time, NordicTracks with even better features and longer warranties are often available at lower prices. Always compare prices on the NordicTrack homepage before you commit to any of their machines.

Pluses: +

Workout Variety: The NordicTrack C 990 has a diverse array of 32 workout applications. You can work on speed, endurance, and weight loss goals with programs that are customized to your fitness level. Whether following the pre-set workouts or use manual mode, choose from fifteen incline levels and 12 speeds.

iFit Enabled: The C 990 is iFit enabled. This feature is the only difference we see between this unit and the often cheaper C 970 PRO. (The C 970 is only iFit compatible, which means you’d need to add a module). Using iFit requires a subscription, but you can download personalized workout programs, track your performance, compete in treadmill races with your Facebook friends, and virtually workout across the globe via Google Maps.

Console Screen: The 7″ backlit LED console is easy to read at any angle. Speed, time, distance, calories, and heart rate are displayed. A quarter-mile digital RaceTrack helps you visualize progress. This is a simple console compared with the full-color touchscreens on other NordicTracks, but it gets the job done.
Tablet Bracket: The tablet bracket lets you personalize your workout experience. You can use the tablet for a variety of functions like alternative fitness apps or streaming YouTube videos to make exercise time fly by.
Audio: The C 990 includes an Intermix Acoustics sound system with 3″ speakers. A smartphone-compatible music port lets you stream MP3s directly through the treadmill’s console.
High-Quality Track: This treadmill’s smooth-running track measures 60″ x 20″, making it long enough for most runners. It provides a nice amount of grip and has an adjustable cushioning.
FlexSelect Cushioning: FlexSelect cushioning is an on/off feature. Turn the cushioning on to get excellent joint protection. Turn it off to simulate outdoor conditions and estimate your performance in outdoor competitions.
Power Incline: A one-touch button lets you easily adjust the C 990’s incline from 0% up to 12%. This feature can help dramatically increase calorie burn and tone targeted muscle groups. Unfortunately, unlike other treadmills (such as the NordicTrack 1750) there is no automated decline.

Commercial Motor: This unit’s 3.0 CHP motor is designed to operate quietly and has a lifetime warranty. It’s comparable to 3.5 HP motors from other brands.
SpaceSaver: Gain floor space when the treadmill’s not in use. The SpaceSaver telescoping design makes it easy to vertically fold the machine and stuff it away.
Capacity: The maximum user weight is 325 pounds, which is above average.

Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup sifted cake flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Confectioners' sugar
  • CREAM FILLING:
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen strawberries, cut up
  • Additional whole strawberries
  • Whipped cream, optional

Directions

  • In a bowl, beat eggs with vanilla on high speed with an electric mixer for 5 minutes or until lemon-colored. Gradually add sugar, beating until dissolved. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt; fold gently into egg mixture just until combined. Pour into a greased and waxed paper-lined jelly roll pan. Spread batter evenly over pan. Bake at 375° for 10-12 minutes or until light brown. Turn out onto a cloth that has been sprinkled with confectioners' sugar. Peel off the paper from cake; roll up cloth and cake. Cool.
  • For filling, whip cream, sugar, and vanilla. Unroll cake and spread filling over it; sprinkle with strawberries. Roll up the cake again and chill 2 hours before serving. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar; garnish with strawberries, and additional whipped cream if desired.
